Refurbishing

Due to quite a few requests, we're changing our approach with our web site. There seems to be a quite a bit of curiosity out there about how we do the things we do, and we've gotten terrific positive feedback whenever we've posted process photos and videos on youtube and facebook. As a result, we've decided to start hosting that same content on the home page of our website. Check back frequently to see the results of our new explorations of technique and technology. Of course, we'll also continue to update and expand our galleries in the rest of the site.

Best wishes,

Daniel Chaffin Furniture Makers

We been doing some inlays for one of our local Cherry Furniture Shops lately. Thought this might be a service you could use. Things like initials, signets, crests, logos, etc...
We have two CNC routers in our shop that we need to keep a little busier. We run a fairly regular route (weekly) to Louisville delivering cabinet doors to our regular customers, mostly custom cabinet shops. Please contact me anytime we might be of service. For me, a successful furniture retail website should provide its customer furniture specifications and photographs. I'm glad that you decided to try a different approach and even use social media sites to introduce your products.

You should make sure that your website becomes more user friendly and easy to use and enter to ensure that your customers are satisfied with their needs.

Hello:
I was inspired by your article in Fine Woodworking ('09, A Bench That Fits Every Room), and was hoping that you would do a companion article on your trestle table that formed a magnificent backdrop. If not, could you please tell me something about the support stringers that you use for the tabletop, and how you fasten them while also allowing for seasonal movement? Great work! I hope you add more of your work to your web site.
Thank you!
